Assistant Behavior Analyst

Holly Weis graduated with honors with a B.A. in psychology, from the University of North Carolina-Asheville in 1993. While she was attending UNCA, she started working with people with Developmental Disabilities in a group home setting. She moved to Gainesville, Florida to study psychobiology at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, she worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant.

She took a position at Tacachale, a Developmental Services Institution, in Gainesville, Florida. She was promoted several times and eventually became a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional and a Residential Services Supervisor (RSS/QMRP), serving as a case manager for nearly 40 people and supervisor for over 50 employees. While at Tacachale, she began to study Applied Behavior Analysis. She became Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), on December 31, 2002.

Since that time, Ms. Weis has been working as BCaBA, with behaviorally challenged adults and children, in group homes, family homes, foster care and supported living environments.
